Individual Therapy
$200 / 50-minute session
I work from a collaborative perspective, where you and I formulate treatment goals that can be short-term, long-term, or both. Sessions are conducted with cultural humility, primarily with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Part of our work may be applying immediate practical application of strategies and interventions to help with the current presenting problem. Another aspect may be exploring/processing feelings, analyzing current and past experiences including relationships, plus everything in between to aid in self-discovery. It is also common to attend to both in the same session.
Although people often come to therapy when they are experiencing a challenge, I believe that discussing happy times and accomplishments are just as important and relevant! We will likely discuss these topics as well.
Couple Therapy
$225 / 50-minute session
Couple therapy is also a collaborative space. We first start with what you as a couple would like to work on in therapy. Then, the three of us formulate therapeutic goals. Just as in individual therapy, couple therapy may consist of both practical applications for day-to-day positive changes as well exploring possible causes of any challenges you are facing.
